Continue your tailor designed yoga practice from the Introductory Yoga Special. Sessions are meant to support the body + mind to create space for optimum health & well-being, and may include breathwork, gentle/somatic/restorative yoga, relaxation and meditation practices appropriate for your unique body. Individually designed yoga sessions with Heather have been found very beneficial for those dealing with anxiety, back pain + sciatica, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, cancer, insomnia, stress + stress related illness.


Gentle Somatic Yoga

Gentle Somatic Yoga® is an exploration through slow, mindful movement that is revolutionary in its ability to improve health, wellbeing, quality of life, and personal performance. Therapeutic and restorative sequences, called Somatic Movement Flows®, are ideal for unwinding stiffness, pain, long held, stress-based patterns and/or injuries and postural imbalances, and will dramatically increase flexibility through brain-to-muscle re-education. From this place of new-found freedom, we naturally return to our generative state of peace and wellbeing. The proven results include freedom from chronic pain, dramatically increased flexibility, enhanced strength, and improved posture. The results are cumulative with practice, and you are left with a profound sense of peace and wellbeing.

Gentle Somatic Yoga® is uniquely different from Hatha Yoga in that we do not intend to stretch muscles in order to achieve results. Instead, we go to the root cause of all muscular pain, which is found in the brain, and reprogram habitual patterns of stress held deep within the body (Soma).


Couples Yoga for Birth: 2-Hour Session

This session provides an opportunity for couples to enhance awareness and confidence in pregnancy, labor and birth. It has been well researched that a sense of calm and confidence ease the birthing process, reduce pain and increase the joy of giving birth. Couples will learn:

  • Breath work

  • Partner yoga postures to strengthen and open the body for labor and birth

  • Labor positions that tap into your body’s wisdom and align with gravity to ease your body’s work

  • Hands-on assists and comfort measures

  • Vocal toning and relaxation
